In the spirit of ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’, gather up all the unused & discarded bits & pieces from around your farms & yards & cut them, twist them, knot them, knit them, weld them, bend them, crochet them………. to create an article for inclusion in our annual Ag Art Exhibition.
FARM ART & BALING TWINE AS ART is divided into three main categories:
Functional Art (Open, 16yrs & under, 12yrs & under, 8yrs & under, Primary & Secondary School group entries)
Sculptural Art (Open, 16yrs & under, 12yrs & under, 8yrs & under, Primary & Secondary School group entries)
Wearable Art (Open, 16yrs & under, 12yrs & under, 8yrs & under, Primary & Secondary School group entries) - Winners of this category may be eligible for the National Ag Artwear Finals at the Elmore Field Days in 2011.
Entry fees: Adults $5 per article
Children under 18 years $2 per article
School Group – Free
(Please note that School Group entries incur no entry fee, individual pieces may be entered as per age groups listed above @ $2 per article).
Entries close: Thursday 18th November 2010
