In the spirit of ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’, gather up all the unused & discarded bits & pieces from around your farms & yards & cut them, twist them, knot them, knit them, weld them, bend them, crochet them………. to create an article for inclusion in our annual Ag Art Exhibition.
FARM ART & BALING TWINE AS ART is divided into three main categories:
Functional Art: Open – over 16 years, 16yrs & under, 12yrs & under, 8yrs & under, Primary & Secondary *School group entries
Sculptural Art: Open – over 16 years, 16yrs & under, 12yrs & under, 8yrs & under, Primary & Secondary *School group entries
Wearable Art: Open – over 16 years, 16yrs & under, 12yrs & under, 8yrs & under, Primary & Secondary *School group entries - Winners of this category may be eligible for the National Ag Artwear Finals at the Elmore Field Days in 2012.
Entry fees: Adults $5 per article
Children under 18 years $2 per article
School Group – Free
* Please note that School Group entries incur is defined as an item created by a group of students working together.
Entries close: Friday 18th November 2011
