ARTS & CRAFTS P

(Located in the Watts Pavilion)

Please note the following information is for the 2009 show. 2010 show information coming soon..

EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE:

All Entries in Watts Pavilion are $1.00 unless more than (3) three entries are made in any section within the Watts Pavilion (excluding Fleeces) – Fee is then 50 cents for each entry.  Children’s entries are FREE (16 years & under), prizes are award instead of money.

Entries close & must be in Pavilion no later than 6.30pm Thursday 19th Nov 2009

Exhibits must not have been shown more than once previously. 

All classes not otherwise marked are open.

All school exhibits must be marked with Owner’s name and school on reverse side.

Entries to remain until 5pm on day of show.

 

PAINTINGS

Prizes:  1st $2, 2nd $1 (Children entry free – prizes are awarded)
Prize for Best Exhibit value $25 donated by Regional One Credit Union
Winning exhibit will be displayed at Regional One Credit Union after the Show

AUB. Gibson Trophy is Best Original Painting in classes 1 to 9

Aub. Gibson Trophy is sponsored by The Kyneton Art Group.

Class 1           Oil Painting – Landscape
Class 2           Oil Painting – Still Life
Class 3           Watercolour – Landscape
Class 4           Watercolour – Still Life
Class 5           W/C or Oil of District
Class 6           Seascape, any media
Class 7           Miniature Oil or W/C, No more than 15cm x 15cm without frame
Class 8           Open Section
Class 9           Pastel Drawing
Class 10        Pencil/Pen Drawing
Class 11        18 years & under Best Original work – any media.

Children 14 years and under are eligible to enter Classes 1 – 10, marking each class with the letter ‘C’ before the class number.  Eg Pastel Drawing would be Class C9.  Please mark entry with the age of the exhibitor.

Class 12        DISPLAY OF SCHOOL’S ART WORK,
Any age group or mixed age group.  Ribbons awarded to all entrants. 

 

CRAFT WORK

Children 14 years and under are eligible to enter Classes 35 & 36, marking each class with the letter ‘C’ before the class number.  Eg Small Teddy Bear would be Class C35.  Please mark entry with the age of the exhibitor.

Class 37        Best Handmade Teddy Bear
Winner eligible to compete at Group Final – contact  Secretary for details
