Farmer Darryl & His Amazing Animal Friends in the Sandilands Pavilion

Includes demonstrations of hand milking & sheep shearing.  Located in the animal nursery

The Community Corner  (where it’s all free) –

Kids Tent – let their creativity run wild, paint, build wooden toys, make badges, get your face painted (and maybe the kids would like their’s done as well), and much more

Gingerbread House – see wheat turned into flour & then made into Gingerbread.  If you’re lucky you might by in time for taste testing as well.

Scouts Activity Tent – get involved in an assortment of activities including slime making, plaster painting, origami, games and more.  Activities will change throughout the day so every time you come something new will be happening.

Master Cook-off Marquee – have a go at decorating a cup cake to enter the best decorated competition.  Or just have fun decorating a biscuit or making a tea cup to take home and eat.  Also be inspired by the students competing in the School Cook-off Championships (times are displayed in the Timetable).

Sustainability Seminars – Have a look at the walk-through permaculture garden and working Compost Tea Brewer while listening to the experts on various topics throughout the day.  You can find Sustainability at the Big Teepee.

Goats – learn all about dairy goats and the art of hand milking.

Birds of Prey – have a question about these magnificent birds?  You don’t have to wait for the scheduled talks, just come and ask.  The handlers are always keen for a talk.
