THE JUNIOR MASTER COOK-OFF
SCHOOL COOK-OFF COMPETITIONS
See teams from the local schools participate in cook-off’s throughout the day.
There will be a number of different sections ranging from school entries to individuals for the juniors.
Schools will compete in the Grade 3 & 4, Grade 5 & 6, Year 7 & 8, and Year 9 & 10 sections. In each of these, the team of 4 students from the school will be required to produce a set dish from a pre-set recipe. The recipes will vary for each age group and be provided to the teams well in advance to give each team the opportunity to practice, and of course refine and vary their recipe in accordance with their tastes.
Teams will then be judged on Show Day by qualified chefs on their preparation, presentation, taste and clean-up, with the winning team honoured by being the Master Cook for their year levels.

JUNIOR COMPETITON
In the Junior competition, individuals can enter on the day to decorate a cup cake, which will also be judged and can be taken home for dessert. Plenty of cup cakes and decorating items will be on hand for all the juniors to have fun and get creative.
JUST HAVING FUN
As well, anyone can come and have a go at decorating teddy bear biscuits to just enjoy and take home.
