2010 Kyneton Wine Show
Judges: To be advised. A judging panel of three will be used this year which will enable us to award medals as well as the usual 1st, 2nd and 3rd places by wine class.

Wine Competition Class details:
Open to wines from all wine regions in Australia.
With the exception of sparkling wines - all entries must be of 2007, 2008, 2009 or 2010 vintages – no others will be eligible.
Sparkling wines of 2008, 2009 or 2010 vintage (or any vintage that has been disgorged in the past 24 months) are eligible.
The wines will be categorised into nine (9) classes – Sparkling wine white (all varieties), Sparkling wine red (all varieties), White table wine (chardonnay), White table wine (all other varieties), Red table wine (pinot noir), Red table wine (cabernet sauvignon & cabernets blends), Red table wine (shiraz & shiraz blends), Red table wine (all other varieties) and Other varieties and styles (including fruit wines).
Entry Fee: $5.00 per entry consisting of 3 bottles (Used for judging, display at the Kyneton Show (sash winners), backup in case of taint etc, and for display and consumption at the Wine Show Dinner).
Prizes: A sash will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd wine in each class. In addition a sash and trophy will be awarded for the best wine of the show. Medals (gold, silver, bronze) will be awarded to wines that meet the standards determined by the judging panel.
Entries: For the agricultural show display purposes, bottles should be labelled with their commercial labels if available. Judges will not be shown bottles or labels. All entries should be in boxes and delivered to:

Judging: Will be conducted on Saturday 18th September. You and your guests are invited to the Kyneton Wine Show dinner on the same night to be held at St Mary’s Hall, Hutton St, Kyneton, where presentation of the trophies and awards will be made and you will be able to sample all of the wines entered in the Wine Show. 2010 Kyneton Wine Show Dinner (Sat Sept 18th)
A gourmet meal will be held at St Mary’s Hall, Hutton St, Kyneton to enable participants and guests to sample the wines entered in the 6th annual Kyneton Wine Show. Winners will be announced at the dinner so come and join us and meet the judges.

When: Sat 18th September. Arrive 7pm for 7:30pm dinner
Dress: Smart casual
Cost: $75/head (includes all wines entered in the show)
Bookings and payment: Bookings are essential. Please book early to avoid disappointment as the numbers are limited.
