Kyneton Show Frequently asked questions

Can I buy tickets online?

Yes! You can buy tickets via TryBooking in the lead up to the show and at the gate for both the Friday night carnival and on Show Day - cash or EFTPOS.

What weekend is the show on?

The Kyneton Show is always the 3rd Saturday in November and the Friday night before. In 2024, the show will be Friday November 15 and Saturday November 16.

What time is the show?

Friday night Carnival 5.30pm – 10pm
Saturday Show Day 9am – 4 pm

What time are the fireworks?

9pm, Friday November 17

When and where can I submit my Pavilion entry form?

On the web page under the PAVILION tab there is a tab called IMPORTANT ENTRY INFORMATION.

It contains all the necessary details about submitting your form.

When can I collect my Pavilion entries?

You can collect your entries after 4.15pm until 8pm on Show Day, Saturday November 17 or between 10am – 2pm the following day, Sunday November 18.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times. Owners must clean up after their dogs.

NO DOGS are permitted into the ART AND CRAFT PAVILION or the ANIMAL PAVILIONS with the exception of seeing eye dogs.

How do you manage the Friday night Carnival?

The Friday night carnival is a fun family evening and a great night out for teenagers.
A professional security firm is employed for the Carnival.
There is no alcohol permitted onto the showgrounds, bags are searched on entry.
There are no pass-outs available.

Where can I park?

There is no parking in the showgrounds. All parking is in the surrounding streets.

Is there an ATM?

You can use EFTPOS at the gate when you purchase tickets and there is a mobile ATM inside the showgrounds.

Can I refill my drink bottle?

Yes, we have a water bubbler and refill station and we encourage you to bring your own water bottle.
